This
course offers a basic outline of the benefits for physicians by switching their practice to the Direct Primary Care (DPC) healthcare model. DPC offers benefits and savings to both doctors and patients unlike any other healthcare options
available, and most certainly offers a higher level of primary care.
DPC provides physicians with what they have been missing in traditional practices: the opportunity to get to know their patients’ health issues deeply, which in turn allows them diagnose and treat their patients with greater long-term success. It also offers a pathway out of the morass of filing insurance and the steep overhead costs
Physicians will interact with the materials to gain an understanding of how DPC
works and how other doctors have already been successful at switching to DPC. Doctors also have access to resources within the course to gather additional valuable nformation before switching their practice to the DPC model.
